Don’t let the New Year hype get ya down
Happy New Year!! There’s lots of energy this time of year, which I personally find motivating and stressful.
Love a fresh start. Obsessed with the possibility of a blank journal. Always one to set audacious goals, pick a really good word of the year, and overcommit to a totally new wellness plan. Buuuuut that kind of hype leads to burnout, especially for high-achievers and perfectionists who already have too many bars set way too high in every category of life.
The New Year hype is also totally counter to the energy of the season we’re in. Winter only just started on December 21 and it’ll be with us until the Spring Equinox on March 20. is a season of rest and reflection, a time of warmth and welcoming.
We are currently just 15 days into 2026, which means there’s 350 days left this year. Plenty of time!

My winter break highlights + 2 favorite holiday rituals
We’ve had a pretty warm winter here in Austin and just this week it’s been a bit cooler, so it’s felt really nice to still have the Christmas tree up. This year, I’ve decided that I make the rules and I get to choose when it comes down. Maybe this weekend, maybe next!
Another reason why I loving having my tree up in January? I still have my two favorite holiday rituals still left to do…
01. Writing a letter to my future ‘holiday season’ self
Every year I write a letter to myself to read at the beginning of the next holiday season. I love keeping little notes about what worked well, what I’d change, and what I want to remember. It’s nice to have these in my Notion dash for practical checklist reasons, but I also really like having them printed out and stashed in a little keepsake box.
02. Scrapbooking in our Christmas Memory Journal
Speaking of keepsakes, in 2020 I got us a Christmas Memories book from Promptly Journals that I love so much. (They’re on sale right now, I have the oatmeal linen one.)
I really like being able to flip through past years and remembering what traditions we kept, what movies we watched, what the kids asked for, etc. And now that the kids are older (they’re 9, 7, and 4), they love looking through it too. So, before we put away all the Christmas things, I need to print out photos, answer the prompts, and maybe this year I’ll tuck my holiday letter in there too.
listen to the archives: My Future-Self Holiday Letter
Doing less is why we had a sweet & magical break
I didn’t put up allllll of our decorations, which was actually really nice. I have a pretty minimal home design aesthetic and our Christmas tree is my favorite part, so it really shined this year with less holiday decor out. I have a ton of ornaments from my grandma, so it’s one of those “collected” not “curated” trees, with no theme whatsoever. The kids also have tiny trees in their rooms and this year they took charge, putting those up on their own without mom’s help. A win!!
I love wrapping gifts and really wanted nice paper, so this year I ordered specific designs from Aspen + Arlo: chess for Owen, reindeers for Merritt, and dinosaurs for Neil. And then while wrapping, I watched the whole season of Heated Rivalry instead of Christmas movies. Absolutely obsessed!! One of the best, spiciest, and most heart-warming shows I’ve watched in a while. I’m definitely adding the books (affiliate) to my TBR list ASAP.
Food-wise, I’d love to have more go-to recipes that feel like Christmas. Our Thanksgiving is a whole thing, we’ve been cooking that meal for like 17 years in a row at this point, so it feels very much like a Tradition with a capital T! But because Thanksgiving is so food focused in our house, I always feel kinda “meh” about Christmas food. Writing this out, I’m realizing that his is definitely something I’ll be adding to my holiday letter… and I can see a Pinterest board in my future!
One of my favorite parts about this year’s Christmas was that the kids had the best reactions when opening their gifts. Yes, our house was total chaos for a few days. I was stressed, of course, but I also felt a new sense of, “I know what I’m doing and I’m pretty good at this.” Celebrating that!!
We didn’t do too much for New Years. Our nanny made the cutest balloon drop for the kids and we put on a countdown at like 3pm just for fun. Then my in-laws watched the kids while Adam and I went out to dinner and to go see Timothée Chalamet’s new movie Marty Supreme. I really enjoyed seeing his promotion of the movie, but it didn’t really live up to the hype for me. Great acting, but the move is a little crazy and intense. I’m glad I saw it, but I don’t need to see it again.
Where perfectionists finally find inner peace.
Business & life coaching to sift through the drama, let go of guilt, and quiet the noise, so you can act alignment with your truest ambitions, not your anxiety.
On January 2nd, we loaded the kids into the car for our first-ever family road trip. We went up to Oklahoma for my grandparent’s 70th wedding anniversary. It was such a sweet celebration and very fun to meet my cousin’s kids. I was skeptical about squeezing in a quick trip with 12 hours in the car over three days, at the very end of holiday break, but everyone was healthy-ish, with good attitudes, and I dare say it? We actually had fun!! We sang “Oklahoma!” as we crossed state lines… and most importantly, my grandma loved being able to squeeze my sweet kiddos on such a special day.
The break went by pretty fast overall and somehow I’m already getting emails about booking summer camps for the kids. They’re signed up for one already, so I guess that is another reason why this New Year, New You hype is a bit much much. I have Christmas rituals on my to-do list at the same time as summer camps. If you’re feeling squished and spread thin, you’re not alone.
Let’s go to your visioning practice: January 2026
Without pausing to check in, it’s easy to look up from doomscrolling on your phone and feel like you’ve made zero progress in work, wellness, relationships, and whatever else is important to you. Reflection creates perspective. And perspective creates momentum. So, let’s get into it!
Use this time to check in with yourself, celebrate progress, and cultivate forward movement. Make this ritual a total vibe by:
Getting your journal or opening a fresh page on your laptop. I’m loving the Open Journal from Wilde House Paper (affiliate) and use Xanthe Appleyard’s Leisure Ethic Notion Template on the daily.
Lighting a candle or incense. My favorite candle is Le Labo’s LAURIER 62 and I’m still burning through my stash of Gentle Habits incense. Every single one is so lovely!!
Playing some music. You can go in a million directions for this one, but my top listens right now are Bon Iver’s SABLE, fABLE album, the Garden State Soundtrack, and
Pouring yourself a drink. There are so many great beverage choices in winter. I’m ordering americanos at the coffee shop, sipping champagne when I’m feeling celebratory, and ginger tea when I want some grounding.
Bonus points if you: snap a pic of your vibey ritual setup for content, then put your phone on airplane mode and tuck it away for twenty minutes so you can really sink into the practice.
First step, reflect on the past month with these prompts:
How did December feel?
What happened?
How did you embody your intentions?
Did you achieve your goals?
Ask your inner voice, “What do you want me to know about December?”
Then, consider the month ahead with these prompts:
How do you want the rest of January to feel?
What’s on the calendar?
What are your intentions?
What goals are you setting?
Ask your inner voice, “What do you want me to know about January?”
Now for your intuitive card reading: January 2026
As you read and listen to the episode, let yourself explore what these cards mean for you + what’s coming up in the next two weeks. There are prompts for each card to help you discover how you want to apply the guidance from the card. If you have questions or what to talk it out, DM me @kaileenelise.
GROWTH
Guiding emotion from the Prism Oracle Deck (affiliate)
“We're constantly growing and shifting throughout our lives. True growth means that we move towards our ultimate truth and the highest versions of ourselves. Sometimes we need to preen back the undergrowth in order to make way for new blossoms, but this is all part of the process.”
→ prompts: what do you want to tidy up or clear away from last month or last year? What inner truths are you growing into?
OYSTER
Guiding energy from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck (affiliate)
“Patient, Secret-Keeper, Hiding Inner Treasures
The focus and determination of the oyster is unmatched. Anything an Oyster personality puts their mind to, they achieve with grace and charm. The only problem is, oyster types often take their inner gifts for granted. They become shy or doubtful, and this can lead to withdrawing or protecting their deepest desires and life's work. When the oyster card appears it's important to reveal your inner treasures. What is it you've been hesitant to share? The world is waiting to see.
When in balance: feels blessed, generous, masterful
When out of balance: reluctant, gripping, "clams up"
To bring into balance: share something”
→ prompts: what inner treasures or hidden talents have you been holding back? What support (from yourself or others) do you need to bring them out for the world to see?
THE EMPEROR IV
Opportunity for expansion from the Fountain Tarot Deck
“Structured Control
A symbol of fatherly authority, The Emperor stands powerfully on his earthly foundation, manipulating an airy cube above him. With his head in the center, he uses his intelligence to create order and structure of his surroundings. Grand achievements are not built overnight; they require a mature coordination of foresight, planning, and bold fearlessness. The Emperor declares that now is the time for exerting control over the situation, defining limits, and showing confidence in one's abilities.”
→ prompts: how can you channel the energy of The Emperor this month? What plans, limits, and foundations are you setting?
Ease into 2026 with support that’s inspiring + expansive

Listen to Episode 216 of Celebrate Cultivate
-
Hello, you are listening to Celebrate Cultivate. I'm your podcast host, intuition coach, and voice in your earbuds. Kaileen Elise Sues. Happy New Year. Happy 2026. There is a a lot of hustle and get things done energy this time of year, which can be a mixture of motivating and stressful. But if you are listening to this, the day it comes out, you are only 15 days into 2026.
So I did the math. It's not that hard. You have like 350 days left in the year. We've got plenty of time and. You're not behind, I promise. And if you've been feeling like, what are we doing in this world today? Like how are we here in 2026? Doesn't really feel like much has changed or that we've learned anything as a society.
I know. I feel you. It is a really hard, tricky time. And I know so many of you are mothers juggling work and business and all of the things, and I just wanna say I am in it with you. I feel you. I don't have any grand answers or solutions here, aside from. Doing what you can to take care of yourself. Stay informed in ways that feel true and supportive to you.
And also just know that it's okay to take time away from the news. In fact, that's a really good way to. Anchor yourself into what matters most to really know what you think and feel about situations so that you can act from a place of groundedness in your values, in who you are and in what matters to you.
In this episode, we are going to catch up a little bit on my holiday break because I haven't talked to you in a while. We are also going to chat about turning this new Year energy into energy that'll actually serve and support you, and we're gonna do our January visioning practice because January is a month on its own.
I know that's not. A revolutionary statement, but I do think that with all of the end of year reflection, new year intention setting, sometimes the month of January just becomes all about that as opposed to having its own moment. So we've still got half a month left to go. I don't wanna skip the visioning practice, even though.
You know, it is halfway through the month, so we're going to do that. But before we get into everything I just mentioned, I wanna let you know that today's episode is brought to you by my brand new Vision Boarding with Intuition Workshop that I'm hosting live on Thursday, January 29th from one to 2:30 PM Central Time.
You are invited to join me as we welcome the new year with new vision that delights your inner child, celebrates where you are now and aligns with your future self. You're going to make a vision board that calls in what you want in 2026 and. Help you learn new ways to tap into your own inner wisdom for life beyond the workshop.
So it's not just like, what are we doing in those 90 minutes, but also how can you carry that forward into the rest of your week, your month, your year, and your life. You're going to love this workshop if you need clarity about a transition that you are. Contemplating in work, wellness, or life. If you want your goals to feel energizing and not exhausting, if you are curious about manifesting, but you do not enjoy a prescriptive process or tests from the universe.
And you're also going to love it if you've been craving a deeper connection with yourself after the Holiday haze and all of this New Year hubbub. So when you join, here's what you can expect. There'll be a 90 minute live class, like I said, on January 29th at 1:00 PM. Central time and there's a replay available.
So if you can't make that time, but you know you want to do the practice with me, then go ahead and sign up. You'll also get a visioning toolkit that includes a guided meditation journal, prompts and templates so that you can repeat this practice with every month, every season, every new time. Like maybe it's when you have a new program going on in your business or.
Maybe for a birthday. So this is something that is going to be not so specific for the new year, but more for setting visions in alignment with your inner voice. So the price to join is regularly $88, but right now you can sign up for 44. Dollars, and if you want to save yourself a spot, just visit the link in the show notes in your podcast app.
Just go ahead and click and sign up. You are not going to want to miss it. Also, just a note to those of you who are local here in Austin, I am leading a live vision boarding with Intuition Workshop at my Friend Pays stationary store, the paper and craft pantry that is on Saturday, January 31st. From. Noon to 3:00 PM Similar content, similar vibe, but obviously it's in person.
So you're gonna get my hands-on guidance and or be in a room of kindred spirits all working together to create your vision boards. I provide the supplies that you need to make the board happen, and you also get a snack box, sparkling water, some wine. It's a really, really fun time, and I've hosted these here for a while now at the paper and craft pantry.
The first time I ever hosted one. I was actually pregnant with Owen and he is now nine and a half. So it has been a long time collaborating with the paper and craft pantry, and I just love the workshops that we have over there. If you wanna join me in person, visit the link in the show notes and snag yourself a ticket.
Okay. Now let's get into the heart of the episode. So first off, I just wanna give like a little bit of update on like where I've been and how things are going. So I have really been paying attention to like how I'm feeling about this new year. New you. Same me. Energy, and I don't really wanna rush through any of that, like goal setting, intention setting, just to like meet a arbitrary deadline.
One thing that I've been kind of playing with is just this little phrase of like, better now than never. You know, it's not. It's not late. I am on time, and if it feels right to do something, I'm doing it. And if I need a little bit more time, I am trusting that. I mean, when you think about the energy of winter, there is a.
So much that is kind of opposite to the new year, new you vibe, right? So winter begins December 21st. It ends March 19th. So you've still got a ton of time in the winter season and it's a season of rest and reflection. It's a time for warmth and welcoming. You don't need to like go all in on your new year.
Today, it's okay for you to reflect. It's okay for you to rest. It's great for you to tune into those warming activities, either from like a literal standpoint or just like an energetic standpoint, and also to welcome in what you're desiring. So it's not like all of this new year stuff is bad. I think it's great.
I mean, there's a lot of me that loves this stuff, but also I just want to remind all of us that we don't have to have. Everything figured out. Today for the rest of the year and then just be a robot the rest of the year. Like going through like our tasks and checking things off boxes, like that's not the point of a lot of these things.
So in a few weeks I'm gonna share an episode on goals and resolutions and intentions and words of the year and New beginnings and all of that stuff. 'cause I have thoughts. But yeah, I'm just kind of taking my time and like enjoying it. Last year I felt like was kind of a year of. Figuring things out and figuring out what I want and just gathering data.
I don't really have like a central place where I wrote down my goals. And if I set a word for the year and you remember what it is because I shared it on the podcast, please send me a message. 'cause I don't remember what word I. Set for last year, and I, I don't even know where to begin to find it. Like if I bump into it, great.
If one of you reminds me, good. But I do know what my word of the year is for this year and I'm putting it in places that I will see it and interact with it. And I mean, I'm really promising myself that a year from now. When it is 2027, I am like, I knew what my goals were. I went after them because I'm being so much more intentional about that now.
So if you have any questions or things you want me to talk about in that episode coming up, send me a message too, because like I said, I'm gonna get into all of it and I have. A lot to say I think, but I would love to make sure that I'm answering your questions. Also, the last podcast episode of last season aired on December 11th, and I really didn't plan on taking a whole month off of the show, but that is what flowed, there was like this little tech hiccup with Spotify where my episode wasn't showing up there.
It's totally fixed now. It wasn't a big issue, but it really like. Took a lot of energy out of me. I don't know why. Like sometimes you know when like you feel like you're doing everything that you're supposed to be doing and then the thing, the technology or whatever isn't working and it's just like so frustrating that was happening.
So I decided to take that frustration and that resistance as a sign to just pause and get through the holidays and wait until it felt like flow to show back up to the podcast. And here I am. Now I have like a plan for what I wanna do for this season. I'm excited to be here. Like numbers wise, it's season 10.
This is episode 216. I will be celebrating my sixth year of podcasting on this show in April. I don't really know where like the Season 10 came from. At some point I was doing seasons that were like 22 episodes a season or 12 episodes a season. And so like in years there were multiple seasons, but now I'm just doing it by year 'cause it's just easier and.
I don't really know if it matters, but is it season 10? It was a nice number reflecting on like the holidays and all of that. I mean, right now my Christmas tree is still up, but we have an artificial tree, so it's not like dropping pine needles or anything. It doesn't require any maintenance, and it just looks so pretty and it is finally getting a little cold here in Austin, so it's still up.
I make the rules. I decide, like at first I felt like a little ugh, pressure like. We're, it's January. I wanna have a fresh, clean slate. I want the house to be tidied and all the Christmas stuff gone. And then I just put away most of the Christmas stuff and kept the tree up. It'll come down eventually, but I am enjoying it for now.
And I also haven't done all of my like Christmas rituals that I really like to do. So there's two in particular that I sometimes talk about here on the podcast, but I wanted to mention in case you are new here or you. Want to borrow these rituals for the future. The first one is that at the end of every holiday season, I like to write a note to my future self with specific ideas, questions, comments, to dos for the holiday season that year.
So I will write one now in the coming weeks. I will address it to Kaileen pre-holiday season 2026, and I will read it as we get into the holidays. This at the end of this year. I think I might try to like put it on my calendar to read it even before Halloween this year, because that really is kind of the pivot point of I.
I, I feel like I can work on work kind of full focus until around Halloween and then my attention is divided amongst the holiday season and work. And I just wanna kind of have some better boundaries for myself around my time and my energy through that season. But that's one of the note, the things I do is that letter to self.
And I really, really cherish that practice and have been doing it for years and years. So I also, I, I. Try to make sure that I don't just put it like in Notion or in Dropbox or something, but that I actually print it out and keep it in this little keepsake box because I think it's just kind of nice to be able to like flip through the physical letters.
I do type them up, but. Yeah, that's that practice. And then the other thing I have is this book from Promptly Journals, which is currently on sale, so it's $40. I just checked online and it's called Our Christmas Memories, A Family Traditions Keepsake. And the version I have is an oatmeal linen. And basically what it is is each year there's a spot for kind of like a recap of the holiday season.
The traditions that you had, the things you did, you put photos in it and stuff, and it's really, really fun to flip through. It's the only kind of scrapbooking that I do. My kids don't have baby books or anything like that. I mean, I bought all that stuff when Owen was a baby, but like I said, he's nine and a half and I haven't done any of that for.
Any of the other kids. So I have three children. Baby books are not happening. Maybe someday I can like go back in time and pull photos, but for now I do really like this kind of like photo album specifically around Christmas. It's super fun to put together and. It's just like, yeah, you can put like what movies you watched and what books you did and what traditions you did, and what giving practices like so many different prompts in there is really intentional and sweet overall.
This Christmas was a really, really good one. I just feel like my kids are the perfect ages for this holiday. It was. So much magic. I did kind of feel that same like holiday blues, winter blues that I often get, and I did kind of feel that sense of like, Ugh, it's all on my shoulders. Like I'm so stressed.
But then I also had this other part of me that was really calm and confident and like I know what I'm doing now. Like I've kind of figured out what works for us in terms of our giving of the presents for the kids. This year I actually bought all my own presents to myself and wrapped them all myself, which is not like a slam against my husband.
He would've been more than happy to like buy things off of lys and wrap the presents if, if I provided, you know, like that to him or gave him that to do. But I actually just like. Liked it better with me doing all of it. I got specific wrapping paper from this brand, Aspen and Arlo, which I will also link to in the show notes.
Everybody had like specific wrapping paper, like my youngest son is very into dinosaurs, so his had dinosaurs, was Santa hats and. My oldest has a very big obsession with chess, so all of his wrapping paper had chess boards on it. I just had like a pretty nostalgic one that I used for most of the adult presence, and my daughter had this like really cute reindeer one that I thought was, you know, fit in the vibe.
And I watched the entire season of heated rivalry while I was wrapping presents instead of Christmas movies, which I was completely obsessed with. If you wanna talk anything heated rivalry with me, I am here for it. It just like. Oh, I love it so much. It was like, it obviously is very spicy and that was very enjoyable to watch.
But I also just like that, like at the end of the day in this show, there was no bad guy. There's nobody being a jerk. Like, no, it's not like, tell me lies, where it's obviously very toxic. Like I, that show's super spicy and fun to watch and you can watch it like all the way through in one sitting if you wanted to.
Similar to heated rivalry, but like heated rivalry. It was just like, so. So much love, like ugh. So, and obviously the, the timeline and like how it is over many years and the suspense that's built and like, will, they, won't they, all of that is just really good. So that definitely added some spice and some entertainment to my.
Wrapping a Christmas presents this year, and then when it came to New Year's, we didn't really do very much. My in-laws offered to watch the kids, so Adam and I went out to dinner, and then we went to go see the new Timothy Chalamet movie, Marty Supreme. I. Love that kind of movie. I dunno, I feel like it's an unpopular opinion to say that I'm not sure if it lived up to the height.
It was obviously very intense and a movie that I will watch one time, like I don't need to see it again. It's a, it was kind of crazy, but I'm glad we did it. I'm glad we went and saw it. And then right after New Year's, we took a road trip to Oklahoma. From Austin, we drove to Fort Worth, spent the night, and then drove up the next day.
We had, my grandparents were celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary, so we had this little family party that my aunt and my dad organized and it was great. Like it was so special and fun. We don't do a whole lot of like family stuff with. A more extended family, which is kind of strange, but that's just like how our family is.
And I mean, it's a six hour car ride home that we did on a Sunday. That's the longest time my kids have ever been in the car. They did great. We all did really, really good. And I think my biggest takeaway from that experience is there was quite a bit of inner drama and some interpersonal drama between like family and stuff leading up to this party.
And then it just, like at the event itself, it felt so unnecessary and like everything worked out. And so I think for me going forward, it's just like a reminder of. Like I may feel a certain way. I may feel like I need to say certain things, but at the end of the day, like if it hasn't happened yet, I can kind of let it go and see how things unfold because I.
Actually just wanted to go up by myself and be at the party by myself to like really spend time with my grandparents. And people had feelings about that. People wanted my whole family there. People wanted to see the babies. I'm glad I brought them. I'm glad Adam came. I'm just glad we were all together.
It was nice. It was fine and it would've been fine if I had just gone by myself too, you know, like it didn't really matter either way. But I definitely learned some lessons from that experience and ultimately like to be there. We in any assortment or collection of people to celebrate my grandparents' 70th wedding anniversary was just like really cool and just crazy.
Like 70 years is a long time to be partnered up with somebody. So all of that to say the break went by really fa. And I've already booked a summer camp for my kids, which is definitely like a weird whiplash experience to be like taking them back for the first week of school after break and then immediately like starting to sign up for summer camps and starting to plan for the year and all of that.
It's definitely, again, like that weird juxtaposition of like, let's be in the season of winter. Take things easy and center and calm, and then like planning summer calendars already. It's like a lot. So if you are feeling that way, I am here for you. We're in it together. Okay, so let's get into your visioning practice for January.
We are reflecting on the month of December and tuning into the energy, the vibes, the support that's there for you in the month of January. I'm gonna share some prompts. An intuitive card reading so you can wrap up this second half of this month. Feeling grounded in your inner wisdom and confident about what's ahead.
Use this time listening now to check in with yourself, to celebrate your progress and to cultivate momentum forward in ways that feel like really good to you. If you are listening to this while you're driving in the car or you're out for a walk or running errands, you don't need to. Write this all down.
You can just listen and let the words wash over you. You can let the reflections kind of come and just take what resonates and leave the rest. Or if you want, you can make this a whole ritual. You can grab your journal. You can open up a fresh page on your laptop, light a candle, or some incense, play some music.
Pour yourself a drink. I will link to a few of my current favorites of all of the ritual vibes in the show notes. over@Kaileenelise.com, along with all of the prompts that I mentioned, and a picture of the cards that I pull. So if you want any of that, just again tap the link in your podcast app or head over to Kaileen elise.com.
Okay. So first, let's reflect on this past month. How did December feel? What happened? How did you embody the intentions that you set for yourself in December? Did you achieve the goals that you set for the month? And then ask your inner voice, what do you want me to know about December next? You're gonna look at the month ahead.
So how do you want this last second half of January to feel what's on the calendar? What are your intentions for the month of January? What goals do you have? And then ask your inner voice, what do you want me to know about January? And once you've done that personal reflection. We're gonna do a little intuitive card reading too, so I'm gonna pull three cards, one for emotion, one for energy, and one for expansion.
I'm switching it up a little bit from the last year, and I'm gonna be doing this three card pull from the same decks from. This point forward unless I, until I change it again. But that's my plan is I'm gonna pull from the same decks. And these are also the decks that I use for my client card reading. So if you want a personal reading or you want a taste of what that's like, you're gonna be really familiar with it because it's gonna be similar to these monthly readings I do on the podcast.
As you listen, just notice if something clicks or stirs up. More questions for you. Or if any surprises come to you, if you wanna talk through the cards and how they apply to you directly, or if you want one of those personalized readings for yourself, send me a DM on Instagram. I'm at Kaileen Elise. Okay.
First I'm gonna pull a guiding emotion from the Prism, Oracle deck. And the emotion we got was growth. We're constantly growing and shifting throughout our lives. True growth means that we move toward our ultimate truth and the highest versions of ourselves. Sometimes we need to preen back the undergrowth in order to make way for new blossoms, but this is all part of the process.
This card symbolizes growth within your life and moving towards your own sacred truth. So some prompts for you to reflect on to apply this card to you are what do you want to tidy up or clear away from last month or last year? What inner truths are you growing into? Second, I'm gonna pull a guiding energy from the wild unknown animal spirit deck.
And the energy we got is oyster. Patient secret keeper, hiding inner treasures. The focus and determination of the oyster is unmatched. Anything an oyster personality puts their mind to they achieve with grace and charm. The only problem is oyster types often take their inner gifts for granted. They become shy or doubtful, and this can lead to withdrawing or protecting their deepest desires and life's work.
When the Oyster card appears, it's important to reveal your inner treasures. What is it you've been hesitant to share? The world is waiting to see when imbalance oyster feels blessed, generous, masterful when out of balance. Oyster feels reluctant. Gripping clams up. To bring into balance, you gotta share something.
So the prompts for this card are what inner treasures or hidden talents have you been holding back and what support from yourself or from others do you need to bring them out for the world to see? I really like how these two cards already kind of give us a balance in that New Year Energy, that January vibe.
But it's also a lot of reflection looking inward about what is going to be brought forth in the future. So third, I'm gonna pull an opportunity for expansion from the Fountain Tarot deck, and we got the Emperor Structured Control. A symbol, a fatherly authority. The emperor stands powerfully on his earthly foundation, manipulating an airy cube above him.
With his head in the center. He uses his intelligence to create order and structure of his surroundings. Grand achievements are not built overnight. They require a mature coordination of foresight, planning, and bold fearlessness. The emperor declares that now is the time for exerting control over the situation, defining limits and showing confidence in one's abilities.
So the props for this card are how can you channel the energy of your inner emperor this month? What plans, limits, and foundations are you setting that you can enact with that bold fearlessness? For me as I'm reading that card and kind of exploring that meaning, one of the things that I find myself and I know many of my clients struggle with is we set.
Foundation. We set boundaries, we set goals for ourselves, but then we kind of waver, we kind of, I personally kind of chicken out sometimes, or I'll see a shiny object. I'll think about, Ooh, maybe I should go for this instead, instead of trusting the path that I've set forward. And this isn't a matter of like, oh, I got an intuitive ping to go this way.
I mean, sometimes, but other times it's like you can go in a lot of different directions, but pick a direction and trust yourself. Have that bold fearlessness to keep pursuing that path even when things get a little bit wobbly. All right, so that's your reading for January. I wanna know from you, how do those cards feel?
What resonates or sparks a connection? If you wanna see the cards, they look really cool together. So again, just a reminder to click on the show notes in your podcast app so you can go over to my website and see it there. That's it. Four. The episode, just a few reminders to wrap up. If you want to have a one-on-one session with me this month.
It's called an Hour of Answers, and I have three spots open for January. Book yours to cut through the noise and leave knowing exactly what to do next with the kind of confidence that you see on others and are usually envious of when you sign up, you get a 60 minute private intuition session. It is.
Audio only. It feels like a guided meditation where the primary focus is you really listening to your inner wisdom, and I ask lots and lots of questions that your mind wants to know, and we also release or receive any guidance. We release, any emotions that are holding you back. We receive any guidance that's safe and useful to come through.
If you've worked with me before, now is a great time to come back because. These sessions are usually $444, but with the code holiday treat, you save $222 through the end of this month. And if the times that I have available in January don't work for you, go ahead and book out to February or March. Just make sure that you get it booked by the end of the month.
And like I said, with those intuitive card readings, these are also available to add onto private sessions. People are loving these, and I, I just love pulling cards and kind of connecting the dots from a specific session to the reading is really cool. But also for podcast, listen listeners, if you want a taste of this, if you want just a reading for the month or for the year for yourself, you can DM me at Kaileen elise on Instagram and we'll just book you a one-off.
Reading. Somebody in this community just did that recently and I know that she is really enjoying the reading and the reflection prompts and all of that that I sent her away. And then just one more thing. The vision Boarding with Intuition Workshop is happening live on Thursday, January 29th at 1:00 PM Central Time.
The replay will be available if you can't come live. But it's only $44 if you sign up now. So click the link in the show notes, get in there. We've got a great group already and I'm so, so excited to host this event and kind of kick off the new year with visions that are aligned with your inner child.
That appreciate and celebrate where you are. And that really kind of puts you on that path to the future self of your dreams. 'cause she or he or they or them, that future you is waiting for you. And all we gotta do is just get on that path and you'll arrive. That's it for today. Thank you so much for listening.
If you. Enjoy, celebrate, cultivate. If tuning in is one of your favorite weekly rituals, take a moment to leave me a review and come over to Instagram. I'm at kayle Elise, send me a dm. Let me know how you're landing in this new year, and is your Christmas tree up like mine? I wanna know. Alright, I'll talk to you then.
Bye.
