Your visioning practice for October 2026
This is a time to check in with yourself. Celebrate progress and cultivate momentum.
This is my favorite combo of analog and digital: Open Journal from Wilde House Paper (affiliate) and Xanthe Appleyard’s Leisure Ethic Planner on Notion.
Light incense. I’m still burning through my stash from Gentle Habits.
Put on some music. Find a playlist that fits your mood on my Spotify.
Pour a drink. Espresso, lemon water, or splash of wine all pair perfectly with this practice.
Take a photo of your vibey setup (tag me @kaileenelise), then brick your phone (referral) for 20 minutes of presence.
First, reflect on the past month / September:
How did September feel? What happened?
If you set intentions + goals, what were they?
If you made a vision board for the month, give it a look.
How did you embody your intentions?
Did you achieve your goals?
What insights can you gather from your vision board?
Ask your inner voice, “What do you want me to know about September?”
Now, look at the month ahead / October:
How do you want October to feel?
What’s on your calendar?
What are your intentions?
What are your goals?
Make a vision board using my free template. Take the Vision Boarding with Intuition workshop.
Ask your inner voice, “What do you want me to know about October?”
Now, your intuitive card reading: October 2026
I pulled three cards for us: a guiding emotion from Prism Oracle Deck, a guiding energy from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck, and opportunity for expansion from the Fountain Tarot Deck.
As you listen, see what these cards mean to you. What lands? What doesn’t? What makes you feel like the cards are reading your mind? And what questions do they bring up?
GUIDING EMOTION: INTUITION
“Intuition is a little feeling inside of us that guides us. An inner knowing. We all have this, and we are all connected to it. The more we pay attention to this little feeling, the stronger it gets. Now is the time to start paying attention to your intuition. What is it trying to tell you? Where is it trying to guide you?”
Your prompts for INTUITION:
How do you define intuition?
What are your favorite ways to access it?
What is it trying to tell you?
Where is it trying to guide you?
GUIDING ENERGY: DRAGON
Seeing one’s most true self, balancing the ego
“The Dragon sees everything. Its essence has been with us since before our first breath and will be there at our last. It watches us navigate the external world as well as our inner world. When Dragon energy is awakened, we are courageous, visionary, and can easily drop into witness consciousness.
It is almost as if we are traveling with a great friend inside of ourselves. When we look in the mirror, deep into our eyes, we may even glimpse the "self" behind the "self," the one who is watching us. This is the power of the Dragon breathing transformative fire into every cell of our bodies. Witnessing this omnipotent energy, even for a brief moment, helps us surrender and let go.
We let the Dragon guide us. We hop on its back for a ride, and as we traverse even the most difficult terrain, the Dragon's eyes see beauty everywhere. It is said that if a yogi does not see beauty in the world, their Agni is dim. Agni is described as "inner fire" or "sacred intelligence." May even just the mention of the Dragon stir the embers of intelligence within you.”
Your prompts for DRAGON:
What is your courageous, visionary self calling you to see?
What are you being guided to surrender to?
Where can you let go?
OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPANSION: THE FOOL
Boundless Innocence
“Suspended between spiritual and earthly existence, the beautiful Fool is the newly born soul embarking on a bright adventure. Free, clear-hearted, unformed, and open to discovery, he is joyfully oblivious to his surroundings. He needs the counsel of others and would be wise to listen when it is offered. With limitless possibilities before him, he is anxious with seeking and excited for what life is ready to teach. Though some find his quest absurd, he is not swayed. With an open heart, he is led by the inner voice of his true Self.”
Your prompts for THE FOOL:
What fresh start or new adventure are you stepping into?
What counsel are you seeking?
When you listen, what does the inner voice of your true self say?

Listen to Episode 237 of Celebrate Cultivate
-
Hello. You are listening to Celebrate Cultivate. I am your host, intuition coach, and voice in your earbuds, Kaileen Elise Sues. Welcome back to your monthly visioning practice. Today we'll reflect on September so you don't skip celebrating the good or learning from your mistakes, and then we'll set October goals and intentions so you have a clear focus for the month ahead. Be sure to stay for everyone's favorite part, which is the intuitive card reading and journal prompts so that you can integrate your reflections, intentions, and inner wisdom for the month of October. But first, a quick little life update from me. Now that October is officially here, I am done with talking about our summer house drama. I feel like dedicating two full episodes is enough. I'm over it. I am ready to kind of close that chapter and focus on moving forward. There are still some lingering things that need to get fixed and finished from the issues that we encountered this summer and the renovations that followed, so I still have them on my list, but I really just don't wanna talk about it anymore, so we're gonna carry on. One of the most exciting and fun things that's happening right now in my life is that I am swimming again. So for those of you who don't know, I grew up as a competitive swimmer, and I swam in college my freshman and part of my sophomore year on scholarship, and then I quit swimming when I was a sophomore in college, and I never got back in the pool from, like, a competitive standpoint. Of course, I've gotten in the water since then, but I really hadn't swam laps until this summer. With all of the things that were happening in our lives, I started taking my daughter to this, like, summer league swim team, and while we were at the pool, I just felt this, like, immediate sense of calm and belonging and remembering all that swimming gave to me when I was young. In contrast to all of the chaos that our summer involved, it just, like, kept calling to me. I just kept feeling like, "I really should get back in the pool. I should swim laps." Like, I was not jealous, but I was sort of, like, feeling this feeling of like, "Oh, she gets to go swim laps. Why don't I?" You know? So I started lap swimming on Fridays After the encouragement of one of my really good girlfriends who I've known since we met when we were in high school swimming together, she said, "Oh, I just got in the pool recently. You're gonna love it," da da da da. So I just started really low-key lap swimming on Fridays, and then I tried one Masters team, which masters is like what they call adult swimming here or everywhere. And then I tried a different masters team and really, really liked their pool, liked their coaches, so I just bought a 10-pack and I will be dropping in to practices probably still just once a week. I haven't totally figured out like how much attention or energy I wanna dedicate towards this. I don't know if I wanna compete in any meets or anything, but getting back in the pool has been very fun and inspiring for me. It's just like a way for me to play using my body that I haven't in so long. And definitely when I'm swimming in a practice with a coach and other people in the pool, I push myself way harder than I would by myself, which relates to something that we talk about all the time in coaching, which is that especially in my work, like I am helping you listen to your inner voice of wisdom. So it is all within you that the information and transformation and change and maintenance and all of that is happening inside of you. Like similarly how my swim coach isn't getting in the pool and moving me in my laps, like I'm doing it, they are just facilitating that process. But if I don't come to practice, I don't get the benefits of swimming. And with intuition coaching, it's one of those kind of mind trips you have to get over of like, "Well, why do I need somebody else to help me with this? Shouldn't I be able to figure it out on my own?" And that should is really the thing that we want to examine and ask like, well, why, and is that true, and do you do it on your own, and does it feel good when you do, or do you prefer to have support? 'Cause I could just lap swim. I could do that totally on my own, but I prefer to have somebody on deck telling me what to do next so that I can focus on swimming my best, enjoying it my most, instead of having to like think of what am I gonna do next. And so when I'm coaching in a group setting or one-on-one, I'm doing a lot of the thinking, right? And a lot of the question asking and guiding and recording and connecting of dots so that you as the recipient can really sink into what your inner voice is telling you, how that makes you feel, what you want to do with that information, and I'm there guiding, you know, directing you back inward when things start to go astray. So it's been, again, super fun for me to start swimming again. I feel Really excited to focus on wellness in a new way, and I, I recently joined a program that my friend and wellness coach, Alexia, who's been on the podcast before, she has this thing called the Fall Lock-In, and it's all about picking a singular goal and then reverse engineering and then sticking to that plan over the course of however many weeks. And it's, you know, funny because I am hosting a goal-setting workshop at the end of this month. I hope you will join if it feels like something that you want to do and get support with. So it, it feels kind of silly in a way that I, again, am doing something that I could do on my own, and even that I help other people do, but my goal within the lock-in is specifically related to wellness, and I love getting support, and it is a very different experience when somebody else is guiding you through a process. So within our goal setting with intuition workshop, I will probably be bringing a little f- new flavor to it. If you've done Spring Forward before, it will not be identical, but it will be very similar. Of course, we're gonna be doing it at the end of October. I don't think I've said that yet, but if you are interested in joining, I'll give a little bit of information about it here coming up, but it's definitely something that you wanna check out if goal setting and connecting to your intuition is something of interest for you this end-of-year kind of season that we're in now that we're in October. It feels like it's time to really buckle down and, like, focus. So we'll get to that in a second, but things are rocking and rolling when it comes to the family. I feel like we've got sports going constantly, and I've received super sweet messages from some of you about how to make all that car time that I have more enjoyable. Jessica sent me a link to her, like, car stash that she has and what she loads in it so that I can have, like, snacks and drinks and extra socks on hand, which when I was talking to her about it, it was so funny because in my trunk right now until I've, like, haven't totally switched over to this car stash, but I have, like, a car potty from when we were potty training our kids, and we just kept it in there. And I think I have towels and, like, a change of clothes that's probably, like, a size 3T, even though nobody wears 3T anymore in my family. So I have this, like, toddler car stash that I just have not updated now that we have these bigger kids. So it's perfect timing for me to switch that out and kinda get ready for all of the sports and weekends that we've got coming up. Another thing that's been making our car time a lot more tolerable is I started playing this audiobook for my daughter. It's a book we all probably know and love or have experienced at some point, but we are listening to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on Spotify. It is so, so good. She loves the narrator. It's her first time with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. My older son has read the books, and then we were even playing it when Neil was in the car, and he was really liking it, too, and he's five. So that's a hot tip if you are also spending time in the car. It's been making our drives to go pick up our oldest when my daughter is in the car a lot nicer Overall, the mood and the vibes now that October is here, I feel like I'm in a shift personally, and I've been spending a lot more time and energy on work. So you may have noticed, like I'm sending more emails. I'm not really sure how to get all cylinders running and as far as like getting the newsletter out weekly, getting Instagram posts up. Like, I'm definitely not managing all of it in a consistent way. But I'm excited to be back on the podcast, and I'm excited to kind of like keep turning these engines on and get things going as it fits into my life and as it flows. Well, before we get into this visioning practice, I do wanna extend a few invitations for you to work with me. So the first and kind of like the most classic way to get my support is in an hour of answers. This is a private one-on-one session where we focus on quieting all of that outside noise and really reconnecting to that inner voice of wisdom inside of you, known as your intuition. When you leave that hour session, you know exactly what next step you want to take, and you've got a deep sense of confidence that you can trust. So you can bring any question, no question, just a desire to connect within. It can be work-related. It can be health-related. It can be whatever you need to stop spiraling on and really just check in with yourself. If it's a question that you've been asking 57 people or chatting with ChatGPT about, then it's probably something that you could come to your intuition about. Nothing's off limits, and you will walk away like having that clarity that you've been craving. So I am booking sessions now for November and December. I recently updated the pricing, so a one-on-one session is $199. I used to charge a lot more for these sessions, but after a little while, I've just kind of come to the realization that having like the highest prices isn't really like in the biggest alignment with me. I feel really good about that $199 price. It feels like a fair... You know, I know things are getting so much more expensive out there in the world. So it just feels like a fair and right amount of money for you to pay, for me to receive. So I hope you'll take advantage of that new pricing and get yourself on the calendar if that feels like a fit. The other main way to work with me is to join A Year of You. This is my signature program. It's a full year of one-on-one coaching. You get four of those single sessions in a year, one per season. We also have group calls every two weeks. We have rituals and a whole studio where there's a suite of meditations and journal prompts, and everything is really geared towards helping you stop overthinking so that you can start trusting your gut and really be your whole self, your favorite self in work, in at your home, and through every season of life. The winter enrollment for A Year of You is gonna be in November, so winter officially starts, like, at the very end of December. We're gonna have enrollment open sometime in November, and we'll officially kick things off in January, so there's gonna be a little bit of a buffer time from when you sign up to when you can get started. But we're gonna have some really fun things happening in the middle, so stay tuned for that. If you are interested in A Year of You or you're really just, like, curious about my work, the wait list for A Year of You has an epic gift right now. So if you get on the wait list and read the email and scroll through the whole email, there's a really awesome goodie in there that you'll have access to. Another thing I wanna share about is... Well, two more things, actually. Austin locals, if you are here in Austin or if you are going to be here on Saturday, October 24th, I am hosting another coffee club with Wild House Paper. It's at my favorite coffee shop, The Violet Crown. This is a super cozy morning to meet and connect and have the kinds of conversations that you don't always get a chance to have or you don't always make time for. The spots are limited. Last time I checked, there's just, like, three tickets left, maybe less. It's always sold out. This is my second year hosting, my third year being a part of it. The link is in the show notes, and if you have any questions, just send me a DM on Instagram. I'm @kaileenelise. And then finally, we've got that goal-setting with intuition live workshop I'm hosting on Zoom, so it's not live in person. It's live on the internet. It's October 27th, 28th, 29th from 12 to 1:30, so it's a 90-day session for those three days. And you will awaken your desires. You'll align with what matters, and you'll accelerate into these final weeks of the year with meaningful action, not just, like, random action, but things that are really tied to the goals that you set. I'm gonna open up the registration to the wait list and any Spring Forward alumni first. This is a fall reboot of Spring Forward. Get on the wait list for first dibs and the best price. That's all of my updates, all of the ways to work with me. Like I said, I'm super excited about work right now, so there's a lot of cool things happening and a lot of things coming down the pike. So yeah, thanks for just being here with me and for continuing to support my work and giving me the opportunity to help you pursue your dreams and the things that are bringing you fulfillment and satisfaction and happiness in your life. Now let's get into this visioning practice. So this is your chance to pause and check in with where you are, but also tune into where you want to go. When we just move from month to month without even recognizing it, it can be very The disheartening in a way. You know, I actually didn't set goals for the month of September, so even as I was going through this myself, 'cause I do this practice myself, and I was like, "Ugh, I didn't set goals for September. I didn't set intentions. I didn't even change my vision board, like the background on my phone or my computer screen." So it just kind of feels like September, I know it happened, and I knew I did a lot of stuff, and some of it was great and very aligned with my overall annual goals, but it just kind of leaves me feeling a little ugh. You know? I, I wish that I had taken the time, and shoulda, woulda, coulda. You know, we're not gonna like regret anything, but just tuning in and doing this is really helpful in getting a sense of where you are in time and space, but also gaining that sense of momentum that so many of us crave. So first we are going to look back at the past month, which is September, and even if you didn't set goals or set intentions, I promise this is still a worthy practice to try. So first I want you to think about like in general terms, how did the month feel? And then in more specific terms, how did... Like, what actually happened? So how did the month go and what did you do? It sometimes helps to look back at your calendar. It also can be useful to look at your sent emails. Not your inbox, 'cause I know that's a whole nother thing, but the things that we actually send emails about these days c- is gonna be very informative. If you set intentions, what were they and how did you embody them? If you set goals, what were they and what progress did you make? Did you achieve your goals? Did you not? Why? Like just kind of dig into it a little bit. If you made a vision board for the month, see like what does it feel like now when you look at that m- vision board for September. And then finally, ask your inner voice. Do a little journaling with your intuition and ask, what do you want me to know about September? The answer that you get from your intuition and that you get from your mind, you can... and what you get from when you look at your calendar, you can kind of just like take all of that into account and just feel into like this past month. And then as you're recognizing it, as you're celebrating and taking notes on the things that you want to change, like just wrap that all up energetically as complete. It's done. We're l- closing it out, and then we'll look at the month ahead, which is October. So how do you want this month to feel? That's the first question to ask. And then what's on your calendar? And just kind of go through it. I sometimes feel when I look at my calendar for the month ahead, I can get like, oh, so granular and like really I can just get hyper-fixated on, like, figuring out every single detail for every single day, and that is not the vibe. That is not what we want for this exercise. It's more just, like, what is coming and what do you need to be aware of as you're setting your intentions and as you're setting your goals? And also, it can be helpful to look at, like, the moon calendar and your cycle and just get a sense for what major events in your cycle or in your moon cycle, like, where those land. So the moon, we have a new moon coming in October 10th and a full moon coming on October 26th. Those are the key things to pay attention to, and then where your cycle lands can be nice to know, especially if you have, like, certain things coming up that you wanna be prepared for. Then it's time to set your intentions, and really what I want you to do with that is use the mind, but also use the intuition to kind of co-create and collaborate on what these intentions are. And then I want you to set your goals. So intentions first, then goals, and then if it feels good and you want to, make a vision board. It can be a physical vision board, or you can use my free digital template to make one on Canva for your desktop and for your phone. I have a visioning with intuition workshop that you can take, so if you want me to walk you through how to vision board with your intuition, then definitely take advantage of that. And then as you're wrapping up this visioning practice for October, ask your inner voice, "What do you want me to know about October?" And I know typically in these episodes, I don't always give you like a, a, a download of like what my goals and my intentions are, but I did recently do this practice before recording this for October. So I thought I would share a little bit of what came through when I was doing that for myself. So when I asked my inner voice and my mind, like, "What's the vibe? What am I feeling for October?" This is what I got. October gathers and gains momentum. I'm locked in. That's the name of that program I'm doing with Alexia. I'm losing weight and letting work feel easy. I'm focusing, I'm flowing, I'm guided, I'm trusting. I've got podcast interviews on the calendar. I've got those weekly swim practices. I've got client sessions. We've got a family trip coming up. I've got a one-on-one session with my friend Luz. I'm gonna be using her way finding session services, so I've got that on the calendar. I'm hosting that coffee club, and I'm hosting Goal Setting With Intuition. And then of course, the month ends with Halloween. So that's kind of like what's on the calendar. So taking all of that, the intentions that I set for this month, the way I phrase it on my little Notion dash is, "This October I am..." And then these are my intentions. Locked in, losing weight, letting work feel easy, focusing, flowing, guiding, trusting. And then for my goals, I have four. My goal is to have eight incredible, amazing, super aligned clients join Goal Setting With Intuition, the workshop coming up at the end of the month. I'd like to lose a few pounds. I would like to have a very fun, flowy family trip, and I wanna make sure that I have a few writing sessions where all I do is sit down and write with no other criteria involved. It literally on there, the check, the, the box with the check is like writing sessions. So whatever I do, I'm gonna be able to check that box. But I just wanna make sure that I'm not only giving myself credit for that, but that I am like- Actually at least once, but hopefully more sitting down to write. So that's how I take this reflection practice and this visioning practice and really apply it specifically to me, and you can interpret this however you want. So now let's get into your intuitive card reading and journal prompts for the month of October 2026. We'll finish the episode here. I pulled three cards for us, a guiding emotion from Prism Oracle deck, a guiding energy from the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck, and an opportunity for expansion from the Fountain Tarot deck. As you listen, just see what these cards mean to you, what lands, what doesn't, what makes you feel like the cards are reading your mind, and what questions, if any, do the cards bring up. So first, your guiding emotion is intuition. Intuition is a little feeling inside of us that guides us, an inner knowing. We all have this, and we are all connected to it. The more we pay attention to this little feeling, the stronger it gets. Now is the time to start paying attention to your intuition. What is it trying to tell you, and where is it trying to guide you? Your prompts for intuition are, how do you define intuition? What are your favorite ways to access it? And then those last two questions in the card are just too good to skip. So it's what is it trying to tell you, and where is it trying to guide you? Now you can just reflect on these questions and these prompts as I'm asking them, but I've also put a photo plus all of this, the questions and the writeup of like what the cards are saying in the show notes for today's episode. So you can click the link in your phone, like the little one in Spotify or Apple or wherever you're listening, or you can go to klieneleise.com, find this podcast episode, and it'll all be there. So second, your guiding energy. We got dragon This is seeing one's most true self, balancing the ego. The dragon sees everything. Its essence has been with us since before our first breath and will be there at our last. It watches us navigate the external world as well as our inner world. When dragon energy is awakened, we are courageous, visionary, and can easily drop into witness consciousness. It is almost as if we are traveling with a great friend inside ourselves. When we look into the mirror, deep into our eyes, we may even glimpse the self behind the self, the one who is watching. This is the power of the dragon, breathing transformative fire into every cell of our bodies. Witnessing this omnipotent energy, even for a brief moment, helps us surrender and let go. When we let dragon guide us, we hop on its back for a ride, and as we traverse even the most difficult terrain, the dragon's eyes see beauty everywhere. It is said that if a yogi does not see beauty in the world, their agni is dim. Agni is described as inner fire or sacred intelligence. May even just the mention of dragons stir the embers of intelligence within you. Your prompts for dragon are: What is your courageous, visionary self calling you to see? What are you being guided to surrender to? And where can you let go? So third, your guiding opportunity, we got the Fool, which is boundless innocence. Suspended between spiritual and earthly existence, the beautiful Fool is the newly born soul embarking on a bright adventure. Free, clear-hearted, unformed, and open to discovery, he is joyfully oblivious to his surroundings. He needs the counsel of others and would be wise to listen when it is offered. With limitless possibilities before him, he is anxious and seeking and excited for what life is r- ready to teach. Though some find his quest absurd, he is not swayed. With an open heart, he is led by the inner voice of his true self. Your prompts for the Fool are, what fresh start or new adventure are you stepping into? What counsel are you seeking? And when you listen, what does the inner voice of your true self say? All right, so that is your intuitive reading for October. They are all very connected. It's almost like the first card, intuition, like anchored into the other two cards. When the Dragon card was pulled, and this is like looking at the witness consciousness and like you being able to access the you within you, and it's just like tied to intuition so tightly. And then the Fool is like that new beginning you with all this boundless energy, but still really listening to and being led to that inner voice of your true self. It's just, I love it. These cards are really, really good. I feel like it is kind of that energy that so many of us are craving as we shift into this final few months of the year. There's a lot of excitement. There's a lot of things to do, a lot of things that happen, and that is amazing, right? Like, it is a nice momentum to be gained before things start to shift for winter and the holidays and all of that. So tap into these cards and the energy that they give as much as feels right. If you have any questions or wanna talk through what these mean for you, or if you have any questions about, you know, the goal-setting workshop and what we have coming ahead, just send me a DM on Instagram. I'm @kaileenelise. I cannot wait to sit down with those of you who join Goal Setting With Intuition at the end of this month. It will be just a really great way for us all to get clear on what we want and how to get there between now and the end of the year. I will be sending out more information, so stay tuned on that, and get the links and all of the things that I've mentioned today over in the show notes at kaileenelise.com. I will be back next week with a fresh episode. I'll talk to you then.
