Light incense. I’m burning through my stash of Gentle Habits incense. Yamba is a fave. Still planning to add Heartfire to my next order.
Put on some music. Find a playlist that fits your mood on my Spotify.
Pour a drink. Espresso, lemon water, or splash of wine all pair perfectly with this practice.
Take a photo of your vibey setup (tag me @kaileenelise), then brick your phone (referral) for 20 minutes of presence.
First, reflect on the past month / April:
How did April feel? What happened?
If you set intentions + goals, what were they?
If you made a vision board for the month, give it a look.
How did you embody your intentions?
Did you achieve your goals?
What insights can you gather from your vision board?
Ask your inner voice, “What do you want me to know about April?”
Now, look at the month ahead / May:
How do you want May to feel?
What’s on your calendar?
What are your intentions?
What are your goals?
Make a vision board using my free template. Take the Vision Boarding with Intuition workshop.
Ask your inner voice, “What do you want me to know about May?”
Now, your intuitive card reading: May 2026
I pulled three cards: a guiding emotion, guiding energy, and opportunity for expansion. As you listen to the reading, feeling into what these cards mean to you. What resonates? What doesn’t? What makes you feel like, “Wow… wait. That’s exactly what I needed to hear!”
If you want to talk through the reading with someone, send me a DM on Instagram @kaileenelise. Even a quick voice memo exchange can help bring clarity.

REFLECTION
“It is said that certain people in our life are mirrors. When a mirror comes to you, it's important to recognize what it's trying to show you and teach you. Maybe you like what you see and the mirror acts as inspiration, giving you the extra burst of energy to move forward. Maybe you aren't as into what you see, and the mirror acts as a tool for you to make some important changes in your life. Whatever the mirror is, take the time to reflect upon it.”
Your prompts for REFLECTION:
Who or what is showing up as a mirror in your life?
What do you see?
How does it make you feel?
What are you being called to do?
This month’s guiding energy from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck (affiliate).
BEAR
Waking from a spiritual slumber, beginning anew.
“After a long winter, the Bear arises from deep slumber. At first the movement and effort are difficult, but the Bear knows it's time to awaken and move toward the dawning light. The Bear card represents an individual on the cusp of new directions and personal transformation.
The initial weeks and months of this spiritual quest may feel tricky, cumbersome, and full of obstacles. But you have no choice, Bear. Winter wanes, the warmth of spring emerges, and your transformation begins.”
Your prompts for BEAR:
What new beginnings are you stepping into?
How can you use the energy of spring (growth, grounding, ease, enjoyment) to help soothe the movement and efforts that feel difficult?
This month’s opportunity for expansion from the Fountain Tarot Deck (affiliate).
KING OF CUPS
Gentle Power
“In a swirl of chaos, the King of Cups sits at ease, generating warm, kind, and gentle support. He values empathy and compassion above all things and the expression of humanity's greatness through arts and culture. His family and relationships mean everything to him, and he expects those around him to be sensitive to the experiences of others. He is the quintessential father figure: devoted, fair, and protective. When he shows up in your reading, he can bring others to your cause, appealing to their sense of loyalty and devotion.”
Your prompts for KING OF CUPS:
Where are you receiving warm, kind, and gentle support?
How can you explore arts and culture this month?
What cause are you calling others into?

-
Hello. You are listening to Celebrate Cultivate. I am your host, intuition coach, and voice in your earbuds, Kaileen Elise Sues. We are back after a little break last week with your monthly visioning practice for May. Think of this episode as a reminder to connect with your inner wisdom and deliberately choose your desires for the rest of the month.
It's the gentle nudge you need to reflect, tune into your inner wisdom, and set goals you actually want to go after, not just things that you feel like you should be doing. This month, I am feeling all sorts of ways. Like, May is a stickier, trickier month emotionally, usually, for me. Mother's Day is interesting, and I say that because I don't have a relationship with my mother.
I haven't talked to her in a really, really long time now, and so that always makes me feel something. It's also my daughter's birthday this month, which I love celebrating her. It's also, you know, just a little bit more work and effort. You wanna get it right. You wanna host the party. You wanna do all the things.
There's also, you know, teacher appreciation week going on, so it's like a jumble of things. School is ending this month. Summer plans are getting more set in stone, and there's just a lot to do. Like, it's... You gotta make sure that your kids have swimsuits that fit them for the season, and all the things, right?
So life is full. Life is beautiful. It's busy, and lately I've been really looking at how I can follow flow and alignment in my everyday life because I know that that is how I want to live, right? Like, that is a, a value I hold very true. But my mind feels, like, a little anxious and crazy about, like, all this flow and alignment because it feels like I've been flaky and falling off all of the wagons, specifically the work wagon and the healthy habits wagon.
You know, I'm- been having a lot of fun and doing a lot of things. I've been shopping and eating out and spending time with friends. I had my best friend come visit last week, and so things have been really great. And also, like, there's only so much time for so many things, and so some stuff has been kind of falling by the wayside.
And my goal this year was to live my life as if I love it and- Dang if I'm not doing that. Like, I really do feel like I'm doing it. But, and I have been experiencing a fair amount of anxiety around the juggle of it all, and I don't want busy, like being busy, to be a part of my identity. That is something that, like, I consciously know I do not desire.
But what do we know about, like, saying what we don't want? Then we just end up attracting more of what we don't want. So it's important to identify what you do want, and I'm still kind of figuring that out. Like, I, I don't necessarily want, like, more fun, more friends, more whatever. Like, I... And then, and then, and then, and then, and then what comes up is, like, I would like to have more balance, or I'd like a regular week every now and again.
But this is my regular life, and it is my... You know, every week is different right now, and that's the nature of having three little children and just, you know, where I am and what my priorities are. And so instead of pining for this elusive regular week, like, how can I make sure I'm honoring the alignment and flow of my self now, but also the alignment and flow of my, like, bigger visions and bigger goals for my work, for my health, all of that.
So I almost didn't record this episode today, and if you've been paying close attention, then you've noticed that I skipped last week. So, you know, if I had skipped today, then it was, like, just continuing to put it off, and at some point it's not really worth doing a visioning practice for a month if we're, like, two or three weeks into the month, right?
So as I was contemplating whether or not I was gonna sit down and record this, I got an intuitive nudge that was like, "There is a message in here for you and for our community." So we are here. I hope you enjoy this. Let's get into our visioning practice for May 2026. First, I want you to take a moment to reflect on the past month.
So looking back at April will help you celebrate progress and cultivate forward momentum. So even when it does feel like you are behind on everything, and still booking summer camps or confirming, you know, travel arrangements, while also, like, dealing with the aftermath of finishing all of your taxes and just, like, the admin hassle of everything, like- It is really important to look at what you have accomplished, what you are doing, what you are making progress on, so that you can really feel that and recognize that and work towards what you want next.
So here are the reflection prompts to, to look at for April. First, how did April feel? If you were to summarize the feeling of April, what is it? And then what actually happened? Like, what was on the calendar? Scroll through your photo album, look at, like, all that transpired last month. Then tune into your intentions, if you set any for April, and how did you embody them?
Then look at what goals you set for yourself and which ones you achieved, which ones no longer feel relevant, or what ones do you wanna kind of carry forward and f- refocus on for the month ahead? And then the last question is to ask your inner voice, "What do you want me to know about April?" And of all of the, the questions kind of leading up to that last one help give the landscape, you know, help you understand, like, where you really are in time and space as you're reflecting on it.
And then that last question to your inner voice is gonna give you the wisdom from within. Like, what's, what do you want me to know about April? What do you want me to take away from April? What do you want me to carry forward? Those are some of the things you can journal on, or you can just listen to me ask it now and, and hear what your inner voice has to say.
Next, you're gonna look at this month. So how do you want May to feel? And as I was typing out my notes for this, I couldn't help but write in all caps, "spacious." So that's how I want May to feel, which honestly feels like such a strong contrast from what actually is on the calendar for May, that I'm like, "Okay, let's see, let's see how that...
What..." Like, I need to go deeper. Just having that gut reaction of like, "Oh, I want, I want May to feel spacious," like, that sounds cool. That would be, like, something you could put on Instagram. But, like, what does that actually mean is the journal prompt for that for me. So if you have a, a word or, like, a gut feeling on what do you want May to feel like, how do you want it to feel, and you get something that's a little amorphous, a little fuzzy, a little gloopy, drill down deeper.
Ask, like, "What does that mean? What does it look like? How?" And not how as far as, like, what are the exact steps to make it feel spacious, but- Like, be specific, I guess is what I'm trying to say, so that you can recognize when the month feels like that. And it doesn't have to be like every moment of May is spacious, but maybe it just means that I'm feeling unhurried or unpressured or grounded from one thing to the next in the month of May.
That would be nice. Okay, moving on. What is- what's on the actual calendar for the month of May so that you can get your bearings and look at, like, where, where are you gonna be? What you gonna be doing? Who are you doing it with? Those are important things to kind of be aware of at a bird's-eye view as you're heading into a month, and I know you're listening to this on May 7th, but let's just say for the next three weeks, right?
Or you could l- like, just slide on into June, right? If you... I often will look at the calendar at, like, a five to six weeks, so I'm always kind of, like, shading into the next month as well. What are your intentions for the month of May? What are your goals? And it might be helpful to break these into categories.
So you might have, like, an overarching intention, but then for goals, you could break it into goals for your wellbeing and your health or for your work, for your family life, for your fun or pleasure. So you don't have to, like, have 100 goals for each month, but it might be nice to have one goal for each of those categories.
That's often what I do as I'm setting goals, is kind of look at, like, what are the big buckets that my life exists in, and how can I have just a little something on each of those buckets? And then ask your inner voice, "What do you want me to know about May?" And then listen. Just listen. Like, what does your gut, what does your heart, what does your inner voice want you to know about this month ahead?
Now let's get into your intuitive card reading for May. I pulled three cards like I always do, a guiding emotion, a guiding energy, and an opportunity for expansion. As you listen to me read through this, just feel into what these cards mean to you. I'm gonna share prompts for each of them. You can just, like, listen and let it, let it kind of flow to you and through you, or you can go over to the show notes at kaileenelise.com and read through all of these.
I include all the prompts on the show notes, so you have a place to land where you'll get to look through all of this. But just kind of tune into what resonates, what doesn't, and what makes you feel like, "Okay, yeah, this was the message that I needed today." And what are you gonna do with that once you have that message, right?
Like, it's great to... Sometimes all we do need is just, like, to hear the thing, but other times it, it does require some application. And if you wanna talk through this reading with someone, that's what I'm here for. We can talk through it in the DMs. Just message me on Instagram. I'm @kaileenelise. So let's get into the guiding emotion.
I pulled this from the Prism Oracle deck, and the card is Reflection. It is said that certain people in our life are mirrors. When a mirror comes to you, it's important to recognize what it's trying to show you and teach you. Maybe you like what you see, and the mirror acts as inspiration, giving you the extra burst of energy to move forward.
Maybe you aren't as into what you see, and the mirror acts as a tool for you to make some important changes in your life. Whatever the mirror is, take the time to reflect upon it. And your prompts are, who or what is showing up as a mirror in your life? What do you see? How does it make you feel? And what are you being called to do?
Next, we have the guiding energy from the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck. We pulled the Bear. Which is waking from a spiritual slumber, beginning anew. After a long winter, the bear arises from a deep slumber. At first, the movement and effort are difficult, but the bear knows it's time to awaken and move toward the dawning light.
The bear card represents an individual on the cusp of new directions and personal transformation. The initial weeks and months of this spiritual quest may feel tricky, cumbersome, and full of obstacles, but you have no choice, bear. Winter wanes, and the warmth of spring emerges, and your transformation begins.
So your prompts are: What new beginnings are you stepping into? How can you use the energy of spring, which are growth, grounding, ease, and enjoyment, to help soothe the movement and efforts that feel difficult? Because even when we are moving through things that are challenging, and I know so many of you in this community have something in your life that is, like, a challenge you're facing, and then some of you have quite a few challenges at the moment that you're facing.
No matter what you're doing and what lies ahead or what you're facing in the moment, there are things you can do to make those efforts feel more easeful, more aligning, more enjoyable. And I know I've said this before, but even just as simple as taking a deep breath, setting a timer on your phone for one minute to breathe and check in with yourself, writing in your journal, making a vision board, lighting a candle, having a big sip of water, getting your feet out into the grass.
Like, there are so many small things that we can do in everyday life, it doesn't have to be this huge ritual, that can really help make the comings and goings and challenges of our everyday life feel a bit more manageable. Okay, let's get onto it. Let's go to the opportunity for expansion from The Fountain Tarot deck.
We got King of Cups, gentle power. In a swirl of chaos, the King of Cups sits at ease, generating warm, kind, and gentle support. He values empathy and compassion above all things, and the expression of humanity's greatness through arts and culture. His family and relationships mean everything to him, and he expects those around him to be sensitive to the experiences of others.
He is the quintessential father figure: devoted, fair, and protective. When he shows up in your reading, he can bring others to your cause, appealing to their sense of loyalty and devotion Okay, your prompts for this one are where are you receiving warm, kind, and gentle support? How can you explore the arts and culture this month?
And what cause are you calling others into? So as you reflect on these cards, as you reflect on April and set your intentions and visions for May, just a reminder that working with me one-on-one can really help you connect the dots between what you are feeling from your inner wisdom, from your gut, from your heart, and what you are seeing in your actual life and what your mind is kind of driving you towards.
Because sometimes it can feel like we have all of these disparate points of our existence. I promise you, there is a through line. There is a way to find alignment even when you're not in, like, absolute congruence on every single topic in every single area of your life. I honestly don't think that that is possible, or it's really not consistently achievable.
There's moments and seasons where we can... Everything just kind of, like, clicks into place, but part of being a human, part of being a woman, and a mother, and a business owner, or, you know, wherever, however you identify, part of this experience on Earth is having ourselves being pulled in a few different directions and still Going forward and still finding the beauty and still figuring it out and things turning out better than we could ever imagine.
You know, so often even when you have, like, a type A mind like me and you're thinking through possibilities, you can't even stop your brain from s- thinking through all the possibilities. You know, it happens, and that doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with you, and that doesn't necessarily mean that there's anything you need to do to stop it or fix it.
It's more about finding a way to go deeper. Like I said, spacious sounds lovely, but, like, what does that mean and how do I embody it and why is that something that I want for the month of May and what will that look like? So those are the sort of questions that I ask a client's inner voice in a session to dig deeper, to get, like, real clarity that you can apply to your everyday life.
So if you're interested in working with me one-on-one, I have availability in the month of May and June. My one-on-one sessions are called An Hour of Answers, not because you're gonna walk out of the session with every answer to every question you've asked, but you will have the answers that you need to move forward in work, worth, wellbeing.
Wherever you really are feeling the, the, the, like, pinch in your life right now where things are really overwhelming and you want answers, that's where we'll focus. And if you have any questions about, like, whether or not the session is right for you, you can just message me on Instagram. I'm @kaileenelise, and I will put a link in the show notes to get on the calendar with me.
Thank you so much as always for listening, for being here. If you have a mother in your life or you are a mother or you are celebrating women and mother figures in your life this weekend, I hope that you are able to feel some love and connection, no matter what that looks like for you. I know it can be a difficult day for some or a difficult season for some, and I understand that.
I totally, totally do. Normally, I do a bit more to recognize Mother's Day on the podcast, and it's just not flowing this time, and I am going to allow that flow to exist without trying to fix it. So thank you again for listening, for being here, for being in this community. I will be back hopefully next week with another new episode, and I will talk to you
then.
