Creative Weekend To-Do List

The weekend has arrived, and with it brings a fresh to-do list. Here in the US, many will enjoy a three day weekend in honor of Labor Day. For me, it’s a 3.5-day weekend because I get to clock out at 12 pm today—oh, the sweet luxury of having a kind boss.
We are heading to the beach for this season’s last seaside hurrah. (Fingers crossed that Earl will behave while we’re there). Rain or shine, I’m looking forward to lounging in the sand and laughing with friends.
This week’s list features the creative insight of a fellow sparklista! I first met Victoria Klein on Twitter months ago, and have enjoyed getting to know her since. Her new book, 27 Things to Know About Yoga is out and full of wisdom. I recommend you take a look!
I hope this collection of creative to-do’s inspires extraordinarily joyful weekends. Please share your action items for the weekend ahead in the comments below!
listen to the sounds of nature
learn 1 new thing about yoga
cook a swanky version of a childhood dinner
play with water balloons
flip through a few september issues
try a new fruit or vegetable
dance in the moonlight

It is such a delight to be on your blog, Kaileen
Thank you again for being a part of my 1st blog book tour!
This weekend is long for me, too, and I plan to take advantage of it… partly by doing nothing, and relaxing.
But I AM planning on making some more granola (going for apple-cinnamon this time, with respect to the coming Autumn), practicing some yoga, finishing my book and spending some time with my beau watching more Twin Peaks.
Have a great weekend!
Ah relaxing … I almost can’t remember what that’s like (darn college!) – haha.
I’m also getting a 3.5 weekend – I’m planning to snuggle with my pup, put my outdoors back in order after tying everything down/putting everything away because of Earl (I live at the beach), and installing both a security camera (creepy neighbor) and a new light fixture – both with help from my dad!
I always think that I can’t do a creative to-do list but in my post yesterday, I sort of did a to-do list for the weekend. And like you, I will be flipping through my September magazines! Enjoy the long weekend.
Sounds like you have a busy weekend ahead of you, but the pup snuggling would be my 1st priority
Enjoy those magazines, Leesh. I’ve only got 2 September ones left to read & I started getting October issues in the mail yesterday. :O
Going to my parents on Sunday for good food & conversation, finding a new place to eat for lunch, a work errand (boo) and finishing my current book Netherland. Have a great time at the beach.
