Before we even start to play.
The lyric is the song called Everything Is Everything by Lauryn Hill.
Rachel
My favorite song at the moment is My Cupp by Richie Loop. I heard it every minute of the day on my trip to Jamaica. The chorus goes:
Wats in my cupp, stays in my cupp
In my cupp, stays in my cupp
My drink is, in my cupp
In my cupp, is in my cupp
Yes, I know it doesn’t make any sense but the song is so catchy.
I tweeted about your giveaway:

the song that comes to mind for me is Ingrid Michaelson’s:
“Don’t you worry there my honey,
we may not have lot of money,
but we have our love to pay the bills.”
haha i don’t know WHY it comes to mind, but paul and i just did an impromptu slow dance in my office and i’m reminded that love matters most: nothing else even comes close.
your 32 days of sparkle has been a blast! i’ve truly looked forward to my daily KE reading
much love
The first thing that comes to mind is “There’s nothing you and I won’t do
I’ll stop the world and melt with you
(You should know better)
Dream of better lives the kind which never hate
(You should see why)
Dropped in the state of imaginary grace
(You should know better)
I made a pilgrimage to save this human race
(You should see why)
Never comprehending a race that long gone by
(I’ll stop the world)
I’ll stop the world and melt with you
(I’ll stop the world)
You’ve seen the difference and it’s getting better all the time
(Let’s stop the world)”
silly I know!
I was a teenager and college student in the 90s so I’m crazy about 90s R&B singer CeCe peniston. She has a song called “Inside that I cried” My favorite lyric is…

“The time I think most clearly,
The time I drift away,
Is on the bus ride, which meanders
up these valleys of green and grey.
I get to think about what might have been,
and what may yet come true.
And I get to pass a rainy mile
Thinking of you.”
– Green and Grey, New Model Army
Happy weekend xx
Yay!
I have a different favorite lyric each week it seems. But in honor of Labor Day..
I’d rather be a free man in my grave
Than living as a puppet or a slave
Jimmy Cliff
Happy long weekend!

But we’re so happy.

But we’re so happy. Yeah, we’re so happy.”

Great giveaway… my favorite lyrics were sung by the great Bob Marley:
Rise up this mornin’,
Smiled with the risin’ sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin’ sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin’, This is my message to you-ou-ou!”
Singin’: “Don’t worry ’bout a thing,
‘Cause every little thing gonna be all right.”
Singin’: “Don’t worry (don’t worry) ’bout a thing,
‘Cause every little thing gonna be all right!”
My fave lyrics as of lately go like this…
“If you gotta start somewhere why not here,
If you gotta start sometime why not now,
If we gotta start somewhere I say here,
If we gotta start sometime I say now.”
— City on Our Knees by TobyMac
Took a long walk into the woods
Climbing the world’s biggest tree
And then they tried to cut it down
But we didn’t make a sound
The sun blinded them, they couldn’t see
Woke up next to you in your bed
Another day to do it all again
Creeped out into the sun
Another day to give you all my love

I’ve bee singing this song for a few days now.
Swayin’ to the Music 1977
(Slow Dancin’)
Johnny Rivers
It`s late at night
And we`re all alone
With just the music
On the radio
No one`s coming
No one`s gonna telephone
Just me and you and
The lights down low
And we`re
Slow dancing
Swaying to the music
Slow dancing
Just me and my girl

Just found your blog and am in LOVE. Lovely place to visit…
One of my favorite lyrics:
Lay your blouse across the chair
Let fall the flowers
From your hair
And kiss me
With that country mouth
So plain
Outside the rain is tapping
On the leaves
To me it sounds like
They’re applauding us
The quiet love
We’ve made

These are great! My favorite song lyrics are:
I miss the sound of your voice
And I miss the rush of your skin
And I miss the still of the silence
As you breathe out and I breathe in
If I could walk on water, If I could tell you what’s next
Make you believe, make you forget
So come on, get higher, loosen my lips
Faith and desire in the swing of your hips
Just pull me down hard
And drown me in love
by Matt Nathanson
My favorite song lyrics which inspired me to sell my home and research where in the world I want to move. Stuck in a Moment by U2:
I was unconscious, half asleep
The water is warm ’til you discover how deep
I wasn’t jumping, for me it was a fall
It’s a long way down to nothing at all
You’ve got to get yourself together
You’ve got stuck in a moment
And you can’t get out of it
Don’t say that later will be better
Now you’re stuck in a moment
And you can’t get out of it
“Next time you point a finger, I’ll point you to the mirror” -Paramore “Playing God”.

My favorite song lyrics are:
“As the tracer glides
In its graceful arc
Send a little prayer out to ya
‘cross the falling dark…” -David Gray (The One I Love)
What a fun giveaway! Love the photograph (en pointe).
Many of my favorite song lyrics are in Hindi (Indian)..I love the lyrics of Tambourine Man:
In the jingle jangle morning I’ll come followin’ you.
and:
Then take me disappearin’ through the smoke rings of my mind
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.
