I just had a friend visiting for a week and the days leading to her arrival had me sorting out closets in the living/dining/kitchen areas and finding homes for long-lost (i.e. buried!) objects. For my friend's entire visit, she kept saying "you are so organized! I can find EVERYTHING I need." I thought it was a bit of her chicness that she left behind because this week I've felt so on top of things..but really, it's because of some hard work organizing and cleaning is easier when items have homes. Now if only my bedroom and clothes closet could be so organized. *sigh* Funny you should mention this.
