Pay it Foward: a Single Act of Kindness
Posted by kaileenelise on November 20th, 2009No kind action ever stops with itself.
One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed.
A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions,
and the roots spring up and make new trees.
The greatest work that kindness does to others
is that it makes them kind themselves.
(Amelia Earhart)
I have connected with some amazing people through this blog and twitter community. One of those ladies is Micaela over at Dolce Vita. After a confusing series of events we quickly became email buddies—discovering a shared love for the great state of Texas and the idea of “paying it forward.”
Then one day, the most wonderful present found it’s way to my doorstep.
Her blog is an inspiring collection of love, words and images. It was no surprise that the package she sent suited my taste—down to every detail.
Micaela, thank you for sending me a little of your sparkle and for paying it forward. I will repay the favor when you least expect it.
