Creative Weekend To-Do List

Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked,
in which you can walk with love and reverence.
(Henry David Thoreau)

I’m so happy the weekend is here. After a week of cold and dreary weather, I am ready for a little sunshine. This week I was really looking forward to all the fun and creative things on my to-do list, here are a few:

saturday morning yoga class
shop for trinkets at my favorite outdoor mall
sip on flavored chai tea lattes
cut beautiful images out of magazines
paint my nails a new romantically dark color
make a fun cd for a new friend
consider my gift for the ornament exchange
work on my blog, catch up on google reader & redo my twitter background
respond to emails
cook a yummy dinner
soak in the tub and really read
shop for new jeans and wintery shoes
work on a top secret project
listen to new podcasts
clean my apartment
reorganize my artist’s desk
start to think about holiday decorations
snuggle with my mister

It brings me so much joy to know my weekend plans are full of opportunities for creativity. Even though clean my apartment is on the list—there are many other fun things planned.

ooooh! Ornament exchange sounds really fun! I can’t wait to see pictures. Sounds like a rejuvenating weekend. I feel so overwhelmed by finals, but I am going to squeeze room for my inner child 😉
