What a really inspiring Aunt. I too love "those" words that make a difference in my day, and I know you are one of few who will understand and probably smile for this one:

"You are a special girl and have so much to offer. I know you will be accepted to the school and will be seen as one of their best. So, go do it." - Chad Brown.

I also have a bracelet with beads that spell "Namaste" ;)

what a sweet & inspiring message! Definitely something to keep close at hand! I keep a card from my dad by my bedside - it is so sweet and heartfelt, it brings tears to my eyes and warms my heart whenever I read it.

What a gorgeous card and what inspiring, loving words! I love keepsakes like that - they truly are priceless. When I was about to graduate from law school, my Dad wrote me a handwritten letter telling me how proud he was of me and how my struggles in law school would only make me stronger. It brought tears to my eyes (esp. since my Dad does not express his emotions well), and I've kept it on my fridge since.

P.S. I ADORE you!! Your comments brighten my world.
